For example, keep enough distance from the car in front on the motorway, or adjust your speed on road surfaces with stones.

Description:

Bulging on the seat side panel and upholstery. Considered normal use, but should be consistent with the age of the vehicle.

    FAQs

What do I have to consider before returning the vehicle?

You are obliged to use the vehicle carefully for the entire duration of the subscription. This also applies to all persons who share your car with you, be they friends, family or acquaintances.

Further details can be found in our GTCs

What do I have to consider on the day of return?

Please make sure that the car is clean and has a full tank of petrol. Please also make sure that you do not forget any personal items in the car before returning it. If you do forget something, we will of course send it back to you.

You can find detailed instructions here

What exactly is the procedure for returning the vehicle at the end of the subscription?

As soon as it is clear that it is time to return the vehicle, we will contact you in advance so that we can arrange a suitable return date. Each return takes place at our premises in Bannwil.

Why do vehicle returns always take place in Bannwil?

To ensure that the return process is fair and transparent, we need sufficient light and, if necessary, a lifting platform. The condition of the car is recorded when it is returned to Bannwil and later, an expert assesses the condition.

How is an objective assessment of the condition of the vehicle guaranteed when it is returned?

In Bannwil, we only record the condition of the car and create the return protocol for you. The assessment of condition is later carried out by an internal expert. This expert assessment is based on the defined return standards.

Click here for the return standards.

What kind of signs of use and damage do I have to pay for?

There are no costs for signs of use, as these are part of the regular use of a car. For damage, this depends on your chosen deductible. In principle, the deductible will be charged for each case of damage. If a repair is below your chosen deductible, only the repair will be charged.

Is there an option to take out additional insurance?

Sure. The important thing is that the additional option can only be selected when the contract is concluded. Unfortunately, we cannot make any changes to the insurance once a subscription has started.

In addition, you can choose the following insurances:

    • Insurance against damages on parked car

    • Full coverage despite gross negligence

    • Legal protection for traffic

What can I do if I want additional information about a claim?

For any damage, we will send you a quote from the body shop. If you have any further questions about the damage, we are happy to commission an additional independent assessor to make a further assessment before the repair.
