Have you found your dream car at Carvolution and can’t wait to get behind the wheel? We understand. We usually allow at least 14 working days for all cars to cover thorough preparation, administrative processing and logistics.
However, for anyone in a particular hurry, there is now an express solution available on request for the cars we have in stock in Bannwil. Here you can find out in detail how to drastically reduce the waiting time, what it costs, and why receipt of payment plays the most important role in this process.
The two Express options at a glance
Depending on how you’d like to receive your car, we offer two ways to speed up the process until handover:
1. Express Pick-up
Waiting time: 1 day after payment is received.
Process: Once your payment has been booked in our system, your car will be ready the following day. You can collect it directly from our headquarters in Bannwil (BE).
Advantage: This is the fastest possible option. You drive away in your new car the day after payment is received (during opening hours).
2. Express Delivery
Waiting time: Maximum 7 days.
Process: We prioritise your car in our logistics planning. Instead of the usual two weeks, we guarantee delivery to your doorstep within one week of receiving payment.
Advantage: Time savings combined with the usual Carvolution convenience.
Costs and transparency
Additional charges will apply for the extra logistical work and priority processing; these will be shown on your first invoice:
Express fee (standard): 275 CHF
- Optional: number plate registration via Bern +200 CHF
If your specific cantonal number plate is not in stock at our Bannwil depot, we will collect the car in the canton of Bern to avoid any delay. We will send you the number plates for your canton of residence by post at a later date.
Total cost in this case: 475 CHF.
How does the booking process work?
As we need to ensure that every car is in perfect condition, the Express service is always available on request:
Request: You inform our Sales team that you would like an Express solution.
Availability check: We immediately verify whether the car is in Bannwil, whether plates are available for your canton, and whether preparation is complete.
Confirmation: We give you the green light and prepare your contract and initial invoice.
The engine of the process: your payment receipt
It is important to note that the express delivery times do not depend on the date you sign the document, but solely on when payment is received.
Start signal: Only once our system has registered your payment can we order number plates and finalise handover.
Bank processing times: Please note that bank transfers may take 1–2 working days depending on the financial institution.
Proof of payment: As our processes are automated, we cannot accept screenshots of payment confirmations. The timeline only begins once the payment is actually booked.
Important notes
To ensure a smooth Express start, please consider the following:
No driving abroad with a provisional registration certificate: whilst you are driving with your temporary registration, you are not permitted to drive abroad. It usually takes around two weeks for us to post your final registration certificate to you. As soon as you receive it, the road is yours – even beyond the country’s borders.
- Seasonal tyres – safety first: During the Express check, we verify whether the tyres are appropriate for the season:
Summer: Your car may still be fitted with winter tyres. If that is acceptable to you, Express delivery is possible.
Winter: No compromises. The car must be fitted with winter tyres before handover. If a change is required, we will discuss timing individually with you.
- Plate availability & canton options: We have number plates for many cantons in stock at our depot in Bannwil. If your canton of residence is not listed, we can arrange for them to be issued via the Canton of Bern (BE number plates).
