Laden vs tanken carvolution

If you drive your car with a Carvolution subscription, everything about the car is included: insurance, taxes, cantonal redemption, service and tyres. The only thing you have to do is fill up or charge your car yourself. However, you will receive a fuel card or a charging card with your new car so that you can refuel or charge at a reduced rate. Read the blog to find out exactly how it works.

The AVIA fuel card

You drive your new car from Carvolution? Super! Now all you need is the fuel card. You can use it to fill up at over 600 AVIA petrol stations throughout Switzerland. They are open continuously and you get a 5 centimes discount for every litre you fill up. With the Carvolution fuel card, you can fill up at AVIA at a reduced rate.

How it works

With the Carvolution fuel card from AVIA, you can fill up at any AVIA petrol station. The card is protected by a pin. If it is stolen or lost, the card will be blocked and replaced.

Once you have filled up your car, 5 centimes per litre will be deducted automatically. AVIA sends you your fuel bill for the previous month between the 5th and 10th of the month. This way you can always see at a glance how much you have filled up each month. For the payment itself, you can choose between direct debit or payment slip.

The evpass charging card

If you drive an electric car from Carvolution, you don't have to refuel your car, but charge it. That's why you get the evpass charging card for free. evpass operates the largest network of public charging stations in Switzerland. You can find the map and the exact locations here. At the charging stations you will find integrated cables and plugs for all types of electric vehicles.

As a Carvolution customer, you benefit from a free annual membership and charge your new electric car conveniently at preferential rates.

Each charging process you carry out via the evpass network is charged at0.45 CHF per kWh instead of the usual 0.50 CHF per kWh. Plus, thanks to your membership, you don't have to pay the 1.50 CHF basic charge per charge.

Payment

Either you get a card from evpass or you can link your account to your Swisspass. Payment is made either by topping up your evpass account (prepaid) or by depositing a credit card in your evpass account. Alternatively, you can pay directly at the pump using Twint, SMS, iOS or Android app, credit card, contactless debit card or Apple Pay.

Save with Carvolution

Regardless of whether you drive a petrol, diesel or electric car, with Carvolution you have discounts with the fuel card or charging card. And with the clear billing system, you always have transparent costs for your refueling or charging behaviour.
