You’ve found your dream car, configured your subscription – and now the handover date is just around the corner? Great! But you're still wondering how long it will take until you're sitting in your new Carvolution car and ready to hit the road? And how exactly does the handover work? How long does it take until the handover?
On the vehicle page, you can see at a glance when your desired car is available:
If it says “14 days,” the vehicle is in stock and can be handed over 14 days after we receive your payment. If a month is displayed instead, it means the car is not currently in stock and will likely be ready for handover starting that month.
Regardless of the availability date, we take care of all the administrative steps for you: We prepare the vehicle, register it in your canton of residence, order the number plates (if needed), and ensure that your name and address are correctly listed in the vehicle registration document. We typically need around 14 days for all these steps – which is why this is also the earliest possible handover date.
For vehicles that are not yet in stock, we’ll notify you as soon as they arrive and immediately begin all preparations – so your car will be ready for you as quickly as possible.
Car handover in Bannwil
You can pick up your new vehicle directly at our headquarters in Bannwil, in the canton of Bern – just a few steps from the train station. Once there, you'll get exciting insights behind the scenes at Carvolution. You’ll meet the people behind our concept and can take a moment to relax with a cup of coffee or tea.
Your car will be ready and waiting for you upon arrival. Our handover specialists will take the time to explain everything in detail, show you the most important features of your new Carvolution car, and answer any questions you may have.
Then the big moment comes: You get in, turn the key – and drive straight out of our hall into your new adventure.
Is home delivery possible?
Would you prefer to have your car delivered to your home or workplace? No problem. As long as the handover location is within Switzerland, we’ll bring your Carvolution car directly to you. We don’t charge by time or distance – just a flat delivery fee of CHF 195.–.
Who is allowed to drive your new car?
That’s entirely up to you. Whether it’s family, friends, or your partner – anyone can drive your Carvolution car, as long as they hold a valid Swiss driver’s license. Your car, your rules. Enjoy the ride!
