You've found the car of your dreams, configured the subscription and now the handover date is just around the corner? Great, but now you're wondering how everything works and how long it takes until you can sit in your new Carvolution car and start your adventure: read all about the handover of your Carvolution car in the blog.
How long does it take to get the car?
When you are on the car details page, it will say if the car is available immediately or when it will be available. If it is available immediately, it usually takes about 10 working days after receipt of payment before you can take delivery of your car. During these 10 days, we prepare your car and collect it. We take care of the paperwork for you, we order your number plates, register it in your canton of residence and make sure that your name and address are entered in the vehicle registration document. If there is an explicit date for availability, your car will be available within 10 working days of that date. Some cars are in stock in Bannwil and others are still being sourced, so not all cars will be available immediately.
Car delivery in Bannwil
You can collect your car from our headquarters in Bannwil, in the canton of Bern. Our headquarters are right next to the train station, which is very convenient. We will also be happy to give you a short tour of our car showroom, so you can get a glimpse behind the scenes. You also have the opportunity to meet the faces behind Carvolution and have a cup of coffee or tea.
Your car will be ready and waiting for you at the handover. Our handover specialists will explain your new Carvolution car to you in detail, show you the most important things and answer any questions you may have. After that, you get in, turn the ignition key and drive out of our car showroom. Your adventure starts right then.
Home delivery possible?
If you would prefer to have your car delivered to your home, to work or to the airport, that is of course no problem. If the delivery location is in Switzerland, we will bring your Carvolution car to you. We do not charge for time or kilometres travelled, but a flat rate of 195 CHF for the delivery. If you don't want to pay this amount, you can of course also pick up your car free of charge from us in Bannwil in the Upper Aargau.
A handover specialist will of course explain your car to you and answer any questions you may have.
Who is allowed to drive your new car?
Once you have your new Carvolution car, you can start your adventure. Are you allowed to let others get behind the wheel? Sure. It's your car and you decide who can drive it. The only important thing is that the person has a valid driving licence in Switzerland.
